Job Description

The Account Director provides senior leadership across key healthcare accounts in LATAM, with a focus on Brazil. This role acts as a strategic partner to clients and a trusted leader within Klick, owning account health across strategy, delivery, growth, relationships, and team development. The role works closely with senior clients, internal leadership, and cross-functional partners across Creative, Project Management, Science & Regulatory, Strategy, and Technology.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead senior client relationships with director- and executive-level stakeholders, providing strategic guidance across healthcare communications programs.
  • Develop integrated digital and omnichannel brand strategies with Creative, Strategy, Science & Regulatory, Project Management and Technology teams.
  • Oversee account performance, including delivery quality, budgets, forecasts, resourcing, profitability, and client satisfaction.
  • Guide launches and complex multi-channel programs, ensuring work aligns to regulatory requirements, Klick processes, and client business objectives.
  • Mentor account team members, set clear expectations, and support an inclusive, people-first team culture in Brazil.

Qualifications

  • Several years of client services experience in an advertising, marketing, or communications agency environment managing senior client relationships.
  • Proven pharmaceutical or healthcare advertising experience, including regulated communications and healthcare marketing frameworks.
  • Experience leading brand planning, strategic account management, launches, and complex digital or omnichannel programs.
  • Demonstrated experience managing account performance, including scopes, budgets, forecasts, resourcing, profitability, and delivery outcomes.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English for client-facing communication, presentations, and cross-functional collaboration.

Desired:

  • Comfort and enthusiasm for using AI as a regular part of how work gets done.
  • Spanish language skills to support broader LATAM client collaboration.
  • Experience growing accounts through new business opportunities, expanded scopes, or senior client partnership.
  • Experience mentoring account team members and supporting team development in an agency environment.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare marketing communications and regulatory considerations across Latin America.

Additional Information

This is a hybrid role based in São Paulo, Brazil, with two-three days per week in the office and occasional travel as required.
