Job Description

The Art Director supports the creation of visually compelling, strategically aligned work for market access audiences within healthcare and life sciences. This role partners closely with copywriters, strategists, and senior creative team members to translate complex scientific and payer-related information into clear, engaging visual solutions. The Art Director contributes across the full lifecycle of projects, from concept through execution, while ensuring accuracy, brand consistency, and production quality. This role requires strong design fundamentals, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop concept-driven creative for market access campaigns, presentations, and multichannel deliverables in collaboration with copywriters and senior creative partners.
  • Design print and digital assets using Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint, ensuring strong typography, layout, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Translate clinical data, literature, and scientific content into clear visual formats such as infographics, charts, and data visualizations for payer and healthcare audiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including strategy, medical, and account teams to ensure alignment with client objectives and timelines.
  • Present creative work clearly, manage revisions through final production, and communicate proactively on deadlines, feedback, and quality control.

Qualifications

  • Portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual thinking, typography, and layout across print and digital work, including school or professional samples.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft PowerPoint, with examples of completed deliverables such as presentations, campaigns, or branded materials.
  • At least 1 year of experience or internship in an advertising agency, design studio, or similar environment, contributing to projects from concept through execution.
  • Ability to present creative work and explain design decisions in team or stakeholder settings, supported by examples from academic or professional experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy within established brand and production requirements.
  • Comfort and enthusiasm for using AI as a regular part of how work gets done.

Additional Information

The base salary range for this position is between USD $60,000 - $70,000. The final amount offered will be determined based on several factors such as a candidate’s work location, their unique skill set, education, and prior work experience.
