A master problem solver for brands and businesses with a keen ability to consider and examine all context while quickly and critically identifying the crux of an opportunity. The VP, Strategy is a senior leader of the company, trusted to lead business independently, hungry to drive business forward, eager to coach direct reports. Being a VP means being recognized with more formal responsibility and authority within the enterprise.

Day-to-day, the VP, Strategy has the experience and confidence to lead integrated strategy on a piece of business, as well as internal multi-craft team sessions. Acts as a bridge to other crafts. On top of news/developments/trends across the industry. Confident leadership skills – level of storytelling ability and diplomacy. Ability to truly engage with clients. Sought out by colleagues for their POV as helpful and insightful at optimizing ideas. Responsible for managing and coaching staff for Klick. Responsible for managing internal and external relationships growing demand for  Strategy internally and externally. Raises the quality and efficiency of work output, monitoring scoping, staffing, and billability. Learning and leading successfully in Klick’s new business process


  • Able to lead integrated strategy on a piece of business, offering proactive strategic leadership while delivering the highest quality of strategy output
  • Occasionally leads new business efforts
  • Weighs in on brand scoping
  • Manages workflow, anticipates/manages resource spikes, coordinates with other Strategy leads before elevating
  • Evangelizes the vision of the Strategy department, demonstrating and advocating for new principles and practices
  • Seeks stretch opportunities to grow the craft internally or externally
  • Participates in Dir, VP, and SVP interview loop
  • Strong contributor in team meetings
  • Inspires and builds strong relationships with creative partners
  • Drives 1:1s with direct reports and team members
  • Drives goal setting, reviews, and continual performance dialogues with reports

Experience & Attributes

  • University degree, with a focus in business or science; MBA preferred
  • 12-15 years+ of experience in marketing, with the majority in U.S. healthcare marketing in an agency role
  • Intellectual curiosity, paired with an affinity and aptitude for creative problem solving
  • Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Track record of progressive leadership experience
  • Comfort and enthusiasm for integrating AI into your work
