Location: São Paulo, SP, Brazil (Hybrid)

The Regional Strategy Lead, is responsible for contributing in-market knowledge and insight to development of strategies and brand building capabilities. This requires expertise in research methods, competitive landscape analysis, positioning, creative brief and creative concept development, and communication strategy and message development. This role plays a critical role in driving new business growth and pitching narratives. This role provides strategic leadership and continuity to the team and client. Collaborating closely  with the Global Strategy lead, this role would function as Strategy  lead for the team and clients as we grow and scale our strategic expertise in LATAM.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Solid experience in Strategy
  • University Degree, focus in Business, Science, Behavioural Science, or Anthropology
  • Broad range of therapeutic area expertise across both consumer and HCP audiences
  • Superior client presentation & facilitation skills
  • Creative problem solving skills with a passion for innovation
  • Strong leadership ability with clients and internal teams
  • Ability to see the big picture and know how to influence it with the smallest details
  • Creative problem solving skills with a passion for brand building
  • Proven ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Proven ability to help grow and establish an office and obtain new clients

  • Entrepreneurial: Must be equipped with business acumen necessary to not just deliver smart solutions but to build a business around it for the agency.  Possesses the dexterity to navigate unexpected challenges in a focused, purposeful way. Recognizes and seizes opportunities pre-emptively in an efficient way
  • Collaborative and cooperative: Innate ability to work with other team players to define and achieve a goal whether working in unison or in parallel Insatiable curiosity and aptitude for learning: Able to quickly discern, ask and seek answers to the most critical questions. Adept at learning and mastering new skills or knowledge
  • Dynamic and adaptive leader: Must be able to rapidly adapt to changes in approach driven by clients or agency leadership.
  • Master communicator: Strength in all facets of communication. This includes verbal, written and presentation skills with client, team, cross-craft and leadership audiences
  • Educator: Must be a patient coach and knowledge sharer to help others acclimate and appreciate the cultural dynamics that underpin market dynamics, client behaviours, and strategies

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Learns and utilize Klick’s proprietary frameworks and strategic processes to deliver differentiated, value-added strategic work within 
  • Partners with regional MD to provide leadership in business development efforts
  • Develops Brand Beacon, Provocation, Brand Building Workshops, etc. 
  • Adapt Klick’s brand building templates and frameworks to meet client needs
  • Works in close partnership with Global Strategy lead  to develop strategy work 
  • Forms deep relationships and partnerships with Creative, Account Management, Medical Strategy, and Science & Regulatory teams
  • Develops relationships with day-to-day clients
  • Serves as a thought leader internally and externally on dynamics, specific market needs, audience needs, and audience preferences
  • Stays in close contact with North American based strategy leads and other global strategy leaders in other regions—attends Klick global strategy meetings and worldwide strategy sessions
  • Ensures quality work/makes time to coach and brainstorm with reports
  • Helps to evaluate talent team-wide and determine promotion readiness
  • Participates in recruiting and interviewing for the team
  • Contributes to the development and management of scopes of work and staffing plans
  • Manages workflow, anticipate/manage resource spikes related to brand building projects
  • Connects strategy team to in market freelance resource, research vendors, and recruiters
  • Helps to adapt Klick’s culture to the local and in-office culture of the hub
  • Uses regional contacts to help grow relationships with potential clients and identify and secure new business opportunities
