Job Description

The Junior Presentation Designer supports the creation of high-impact presentations and documents that help Klick communicate complex ideas with clarity, creativity, and precision. This role is focused on visual theme development, layout design, information design, and using AI tools to support creative exploration for pitch and presentation work.

This is first and foremost a role for a designer. We are not looking for someone who simply works within templates. We are looking for someone with strong design instincts, a sharp eye for composition and typography, and confidence working with dense, information-rich content. The ideal candidate is excited by the challenge of making complex material feel clear, engaging, and beautifully crafted, while growing toward greater creative ownership over time.

This role is a foundational step for a designer who wants to grow into a Senior Designer on the Growth Design team, building mastery in a distinctive and high-demand creative niche in the industry and plays an important role across the agency.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support senior designers in creating visually compelling presentations and documents for pitches and other strategic initiatives
  • Help create visual themes and design directions that elevate storytelling, including exploring concepts through AI tools
  • Translate dense, complex information into clear, engaging visual narratives and polished layouts
  • Apply strong design fundamentals across typography, composition, hierarchy, and information design
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen storytelling, clarity, and overall presentation quality
  • Contribute to highly crafted, original work while building toward greater creative ownership over time

Qualifications

Required:

  • Portfolio demonstrating presentation/information design/editorial layout work
  • Graduating by April 2026 or graduated within the past two years from a related program
  • Experience in PowerPoint and/or Keynote, with familiarity in InDesign
  • Comfort working with dense or complex content
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and operate independently when needed
  • Interest in using AI tools to support and elevate creative workflow

Desired:

  • Ability to create infographics and visual frameworks for strategic storytelling
  • Knowledge of typography best practices and visual hierarchy
  • Interest in applying AI tools to elevate workflow and creativity
  • Experience collaborating with senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams

This posting is for a newly created role at Klick. The base salary for this position is CAD 50,000 per year and will be determined based on several factors such as a candidate’s work location, their unique skill set, education, and prior experience.
