Overview:
The Associate Director/Director, Programmatic will play a key role in Klick’s Media team, working to enhance, expand, and innovate Klick’s programmatic offering. This role demands a strategic thinker with hands-on expertise, who will oversee projects from start to finish and manage a dynamic team, ensuring quality client service, flawless campaign execution, and continuous team development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Shape and execute programmatic media strategies aligned with client goals, with a focus on healthcare and pharmaceutical markets advertisers.
  • Campaign Oversight: Analyze performance, drive strategic optimizations, and maintain high standards in programmatic and display media operations across several clients.
  • Client Partnership: Act as the primary point of contact for client marketing teams and internal stakeholders, delivering programmatic media insights and recommendations that support client objectives and foster account growth.
  • Team Management: Mentor and manage a team of junior programmatic traders, enhancing their skill sets and ensuring a positive, collaborative team environment.
  • Innovation & Development: Identify new programmatic opportunities, develop a testing framework, and share insights on evolving best practices across the agency.
  • Operational Excellence: Implement efficient processes and quality control measures, aiming to streamline workflows and optimize resource use across campaigns.
  • Performance & Accountability: Lead by example, instilling a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years in programmatic advertising, with 3+ years in client-facing roles.
  • Extensive knowledge of the DSP and SSP landscape
  • Experience leveraging these platforms for precise audience targeting and segmentation.
  • Previous hands on keyboard expertise in platforms such as The Trade Desk, Nexxen, Yahoo!, and GoogleAds. 
  • Experience in executing and managing campaigns across channels such as CTV, OLV, Display, Rich Media, Audio, and more
  • 3+ years managing hands on keyboard teams, including recruitment, talent development, and performance management.
  • Strong operational understanding of key programmatic elements like brand safety, ad viewability, and fraud prevention.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and skilled in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • BA degree
  • Strong Leadership and Communication Skills: Capable of motivating teams, presenting complex data insights to stakeholders, and fostering cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Strong Understanding of Emerging Trends and Technologies in Programmatic: Awareness of the latest trends (e.g AI-driven targeting, cookieless capabilities)
  • Strong Leadership and Communication Skills: Capable of motivating teams, presenting complex data insights to stakeholders, and fostering cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Background in an agency or in-house programmatic team, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of programmatic strategies and processes.

Preferred Experience:

  • Working with healthcare or pharmaceutical brands.
  • Managing large-scale campaigns in the US market
  • Collaborating in multi-agency or remote resource settings.
