Job Description
The Talent Sourcing Specialist (Contract) supports proactive talent pipeline development across multiple craft areas at Klick, including Client Services, Strategy, Creative, Media, Science, Regulatory, Data, and Omnichannel. This role partners closely with Talent Acquisition Partners to anticipate hiring needs, map talent markets, and engage high-quality passive candidates. The focus is on building structured, diverse pipelines before hiring demand peaks and delivering recruiter-ready candidates aligned to business priorities.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with Talent Acquisition Partners to support approximately 15 concurrent requisitions by building targeted sourcing strategies aligned to workforce plans.
- Build and maintain 8–12 active talent pipelines within the first 90 days using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, and talent mapping frameworks.
- Identify, engage, and nurture passive candidates within agency and healthcare marketing talent markets, delivering 5–8 recruiter-ready candidates per active requisition within agreed SLAs.
- Conduct competitive talent mapping and market research, documenting insights and candidate activity within SmartRecruiters (Community and tagging functions).
- Track sourcing metrics including pipeline volume, response rates, and qualified-to-interview conversion, targeting a 40–50% conversion rate from sourced candidates.
Qualifications
Required:
- 3–5 years of talent sourcing or full-cycle recruiting experience, including demonstrated ownership of proactive pipeline development across multiple business functions.
- Hands-on experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and advanced Boolean search techniques to build and engage passive talent pools.
- Experience supporting high-volume environments, managing sourcing activity across approximately 15 concurrent requisitions with structured tracking.
- Demonstrated success delivering qualified candidate shortlists with measurable recruiter handoff outcomes (e.g., interview conversion rates, time-to-slate metrics).
- Experience sourcing within agency, healthcare, marketing, or similarly specialized talent markets, with evidence of targeted outreach campaigns and engagement metrics.
Desired:
- Comfort and enthusiasm for using AI as a regular part of how work gets done.
- Experience using SmartRecruiters, including Community functionality, tagging, and candidate documentation.
- Experience conducting formal talent mapping and competitive market analysis across specialized disciplines.
- Exposure to diversity-focused sourcing strategies and measurable pipeline diversification efforts.
- Experience developing personalized outreach campaigns with trackable response and engagement rates.
Additional Information
This posting is for a newly created role at Klick.
The base salary range for this position is between CAD $70,000 - $85,000. The final amount offered will be determined based on several factors such as a candidate's work location, their unique skill set, education, and prior work experience.
This is a 6-month contract role based in Toronto with a Hybrid Schedule
