Job Description
The Media Planning Coordinator supports the development and execution of digital media plans that help life sciences brands connect with healthcare audiences. Working closely with Planning, Media Operations, and Analytics, the role supports campaign planning, execution, and reporting across digital channels. The position contributes to accurate media plans, budgets, campaign setup, and performance reporting within a regulated, data-driven environment.
What You’ll Do
- Support the development of digital media plans by compiling research, audience insights, and channel recommendations across search, display, video, email, and mobile platforms
- Prepare and maintain media planning documents, budgets, and flowcharts using Excel and internal planning systems
- Coordinate with Media Operations to support campaign setup, trafficking, and pacing across media buying platforms
- Compile campaign data and support performance reports and summaries in collaboration with Analytics partners
- Collaborate with Planning Specialists and Managers to align media plans with client objectives, timelines, and regulatory considerations
Qualifications
Required:
- Foundational knowledge of digital media planning demonstrated through relevant coursework, internships, or up to 1 year of experience in media, marketing, advertising, or analytics
- Hands-on experience using Excel or Google Sheets to manage data, budgets, reports, or other structured deliverables with demonstrated accuracy
- Experience maintaining financial tracking, reporting, or quality-control deliverables through academic, internship, or professional work
- Experience coordinating shared deliverables with multiple stakeholders or cross-functional teams through group projects, client work, internships, or professional assignments
- Experience documenting work and following established processes, demonstrated through academic, internship, or professional deliverables in structured or regulated environments
Desired:
- Comfort and enthusiasm for using AI as a regular part of how work gets done.
- Exposure to media platforms, ad servers, or analytics tools such as Google Analytics, search platforms, or DSPs through coursework or practical experience
- Understanding of healthcare, life sciences, or another regulated industry demonstrated through education, internships, or prior work
- Experience supporting campaign reporting, billing, or reconciliation processes through coursework, internships, or professional work
- Exposure to agency media planning, strategy, or analytics through coursework, internships, or professional experience
Additional Information
This posting is for an existing vacancy at Klick. The base salary range for this position is between CAD $46,500 - $60,000. The final amount offered will be determined based on several factors such as a candidate’s work location, their unique skill set, education, and prior work experience.
