Job Description
Work term: Contract, Full-time
Location: São Paulo, SP, Brazil (Hybrid)
The Junior Copywriter is a key contributor responsible for researching, creating, and writing copy for creative concepts from draft stage through final copy. Collaborating closely with their art partner, the Copywriter acts as a drug information specialist, assisting senior creatives on larger projects. The role involves ensuring that work aligns with client marketing strategies, meets objectives, and adheres to deadlines and budgets on client projects. Additionally, the Copywriter must acquire a solid understanding of Klick Health's departmental procedures and internal creative craft solutions.
Your mission will be:
- Research, create, and write copy for creative concepts in collaboration with art partners
- Act as a drug information specialist and assist senior creatives on more complex projects
- Ensure work aligns with client marketing strategies, meeting objectives, deadlines, and budgets
- Understand and adhere to Klick Health departmental procedures, including routing and usage rights of stock and images
- Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills
- Develop an understanding of audience needs and tailor copy to meet them
- Contribute innovative ideas aligned with the client’s marketing strategy
- Defend strengths of existing concepts while remaining open to input and further explorations
- Proactively anticipate and solve creative problems
- Maintain quality control through adherence to agency process and style guidelines
- Create concept roughs and layouts, presenting them to senior creative team members
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering on client expectations consistently
- Input accurate and timely billable hours via scheduler/daily pulse
- Understand how budgets and schedules are developed
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding deadlines, revisions, and new work
- Course correct in a way that benefits the client
- Create memorable moments that leave a lasting impact on clients
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and share knowledge with internal teams
- Explore and incorporate continuous learning on the Cs and Ps of the business (company, customer, competition, product, price, promotion, place, and performance) and their impact on Klick's client work
What tech skills you bring:
- Effective communication skills to speak and write Portuguese, Spanish, and English
- Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising/Marketing, Communications, Writing, or related discipline
- Computer proficiency with solid knowledge of word text programs
- Working knowledge of product challenges in relation to the overall market
- Understanding of American Medical Association (AMA) style
- Experience in writing within an advertising agency environment (1+ years) or equivalent internship experience
