Job Description

The Art Supervisor partners with Copy, Strategy, Client Services, and Project Management to concept and deliver integrated creative across healthcare brands. This role leads visual development from concept through production, ensuring all work is strategically aligned, medically accurate, and executed to a high craft standard. The Art Supervisor also mentors junior creatives and contributes directly to client presentations and creative workshops.

What You’ll Do

  • Concept and design integrated HCP-focused campaigns across print, digital, video, social, and interactive platforms using Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
  • Lead visual development of brand campaigns from initial concept through production-ready deliverables in collaboration with Copy and Strategy partners.
  • Present creative concepts and rationale to clients and cross-functional stakeholders, incorporating feedback into refined design solutions.
  • Ensure brand consistency, regulatory alignment, and production accuracy across all assets in partnership with Medical, Regulatory, and Client Services teams.
  • Manage and mentor junior designers and art directors, providing structured feedback, performance guidance, and craft development support.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in an advertising agency environment with a strong portfolio demonstrating integrated healthcare or pharmaceutical brand campaigns.
  • Demonstrated experience concepting and designing HCP-directed materials across multiple channels (print, digital, video, social) with live production examples.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma, evidenced through portfolio samples and production-ready files.
  • Experience presenting creative concepts directly to clients and senior stakeholders, including leading portions of brand or campaign presentations.
  • Experience mentoring or managing junior creatives with documented examples of coaching, feedback, and project oversight.

Desired:

  • Comfort and enthusiasm for using AI as a regular part of how work gets done.
  • Experience working within U.S. pharmaceutical regulatory environments, including collaboration with Medical and Regulatory review teams.
  • Experience leading visual identity development or brand refresh initiatives for healthcare brands.
  • Motion, 3D, or video art direction experience using tools such as After Effects or similar platforms.
  • Recognition through industry awards or published creative work demonstrating high craft standards.
