The Strategy Craft shapes how life sciences brands compete, grow, and connect with audiences. Strategists integrate market research, behavioral insight, data, and business context to inform brand, digital, and omnichannel decisions. The team collaborates with Creative, Analytics, Consulting, and Technology partners to translate insight into actionable plans. Work spans go-to-market strategy, customer experience design, ecosystem planning, and performance measurement frameworks.
Job Description
The Associate Strategist Intern supports the development of brand and go-to-market strategies for life sciences clients. This role contributes to structured research, insight generation, and strategic planning across brand, digital, and omnichannel initiatives. The position partners with senior strategists, Analytics, and cross-functional teams to transform data and qualitative insight into clear recommendations. Success is measured by rigor of analysis, clarity of synthesis, quality of strategic thinking, and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct market, competitor, and audience research using primary and secondary sources to inform brand and go-to-market strategy.
- Support development of targeting frameworks, channel strategies, and marketing ecosystem design in collaboration with senior strategists.
- Analyze brand performance data with Analytics partners and translate findings into optimization recommendations.
- Develop annual tactical plans and structured project briefs aligned to business objectives and customer insights.
- Contribute to thought leadership materials (e.g., POV documents, trend analyses) grounded in industry, technology, and behavioral research.
Qualifications
Required:
- Graduating by April 2026 or graduated within the past two years from a program in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Psychology, Behavioral Science, Communications, Sociology, Data Analytics, Healthcare, or related field.
- Demonstrated experience conducting structured research or case analysis through coursework, internships, or strategy-focused projects.
- Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative inputs into clear written or slide-based recommendations, evidenced through academic or professional work.
- Experience collaborating in cross-functional team projects with defined deliverables and timelines.
- Strong written communication skills demonstrated through reports, presentations, or analytical papers.
Desired:
- Comfort and enthusiasm for using AI as a regular part of how work gets done.
- Exposure to marketing strategy, brand planning, consulting, or agency environments through internships, consulting clubs, or case competitions.
- Familiarity with go-to-market frameworks, segmentation models, customer journey mapping, or performance measurement concepts.
- Experience analyzing data in Excel or other tools to support business recommendations.
- Interest in healthcare, life sciences, digital health, or regulated industries demonstrated through coursework or project work.
Additional Information
This posting is for a newly created role at Klick. The base salary for this position is CAD 50,000 per year and will be determined based on several factors such as a candidate’s work location, their unique skill set, education, and prior experience.
