Job Description
This role helps translate complex business needs into clear, actionable system requirements that support healthcare and marketing solutions. The Business Systems Analyst maps workflows, identifies opportunities for improvement, and partners across teams to ensure solutions are scalable, compliant, and aligned with user needs. The role combines problem-solving, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration to support high-quality delivery.
What You’ll Do:
- Translate business needs into system requirements for product and engineering teams
- Map workflows and identify opportunities to simplify processes and reduce inefficiencies
- Ensure systems capture and flow data effectively to support insights and decision-making
- Create user stories, specifications, and documentation and support testing activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendor partners to align business and technical needs
Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years translating business needs into system requirements in a BSA or similar role
- Ability to understand core development platforms and learn new or emerging technologies
- Understanding of healthcare or pharma compliance standards or interest in developing this knowledge
- Ability to visualize workflows and data flows clearly for technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong communication skills across technical and business teams
- Experience collaborating in cross-functional delivery environments
Desired:
- Exposure to healthcare software ecosystems
- Experience integrating AI tools into daily work or analysis workflows
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as FDA, HIPAA, or 21 CFR Part 11
- Experience documenting requirements for data-driven or workflow-heavy systems
- Ability to support both discovery and delivery phases of system design
- Curiosity for how systems, data, and processes work together to support business outcomes
