The team partners across strategy, scientific, creative, and client teams to shape medically sound narratives and content. Their work supports credible, compliant, and impactful engagement across the product lifecycle.
Job Description
Klick Health is building a next-generation Strategic Stakeholder Intelligence and Engagement practice for life sciences clients. This VP role will lead intelligence-led influence strategy, helping medical affairs and commercial teams understand who shapes scientific, clinical, and market momentum. The role translates stakeholder intelligence, competitive landscape insights, scientific share-of-voice analysis, ecosystem gaps, and engagement measurement into actionable strategies across the product lifecycle.
What You’ll Do
- Lead stakeholder intelligence and engagement programs for pharma and biotech clients across Phase II through lifecycle management.
- Translate trajectory indices, competitive benchmarks, share-of-voice analysis, gap assessments, risers’ radar, and ecosystem maps into engagement strategies and prioritization frameworks.
- Design advisory boards, steering groups, coalition strategies, congress plans, digital opinion leader programs, and relationship roadmaps tied to measurable outcomes.
- Build closed-loop engagement models that capture outcomes, improve future recommendations, refine personas, and inform content priorities.
- Partner with medical strategy, scientific communications, data science, creative, market access, and client leadership teams to shape the practice and support competitive pitches.
Qualifications
Required:
- 12+ years of life sciences experience across at least two of pharma/biotech, health technology or data platforms, consulting/advisory, or agency/communications.
- Direct experience leading stakeholder engagement, medical affairs strategy, KOL strategy, or influence strategy programs for pharma or biotech clients.
- Experience translating stakeholder intelligence, scientific landscape analysis, share-of-voice data, competitive benchmarks, or ecosystem maps into client-ready strategic recommendations.
- Working knowledge of medical and commercial life sciences teams, including how engagement strategies operate within compliance boundaries.
- Multi-therapeutic-area experience, with observable work in oncology, immunology, rare disease, neurology, or specialty therapeutics preferred.
- Experience advising senior clients or executives on stakeholder maturity, engagement roadmaps, strategic priorities, or transformation plans.
Desired:
- Comfort and enthusiasm for using AI as a regular part of how work gets done.
- Experience with stakeholder analytics platforms such as Veeva, Monocl, H1, Definitive Healthcare, or similar tools.
- Global or international life sciences experience beyond the U.S. market.
- Experience with digital stakeholder engagement, including DOLs, HCP digital behavior, social media for medical affairs, or virtual engagement models.
- Experience with patient advocacy, professional society, policy stakeholders, or non-traditional stakeholder ecosystems.
- Track record building or scaling a team, practice, product, methodology, or thought leadership platform.
