Job Description

The Media Planning Coordinator supports the development and execution of digital media plans that help life sciences brands connect meaningfully with healthcare audiences. Working closely with Planning, Media Operations, and Analytics, this role contributes to accurate, well-structured campaigns across channels. The position is well-suited to someone early in their media career who is detail-oriented and eager to learn how media planning works in a regulated, data-driven environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the development of media plans by compiling research, audience insights, and channel recommendations across search, display, video, email, and mobile platforms
  • Prepare and maintain planning documents, budgets, and media flowcharts using tools such as Excel and internal planning systems
  • Coordinate with Media Operations to support campaign setup, trafficking, and pacing across buying platforms
  • Assist with campaign reporting by pulling data and supporting performance summaries in collaboration with Analytics partners
  • Collaborate with Planning Specialists and Managers to ensure plans align with client objectives, timelines, and regulatory considerations

Qualifications

Required:

  • Foundational knowledge of digital media planning concepts through coursework, internships, or 0–1 years of relevant experience in media, marketing, advertising, or analytics
  • Hands-on experience using spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) to manage data, budgets, or reports with a high degree of accuracy
  • Demonstrated attention to detail through academic, internship, or work examples involving financial tracking, reporting, or quality checks
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders or teams on shared deliverables, such as group projects, client work, or cross-functional assignments
  • Ability to clearly document work and follow established processes in regulated or structured environments

Desired:

  • Comfort and enthusiasm for using AI as a regular part of how work gets done
  • Exposure to media platforms, ad servers, or analytics tools such as Google Analytics, search platforms, or DSPs through coursework or practical experience
  • Understanding of healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industries through education or prior work
  • Experience supporting campaign reporting, billing, or reconciliation processes
  • Interest in building a long-term career in media planning, strategy, or analytics within an agency environment

Additional Information

This posting is for an existing vacancy at Klick. The base salary range for this position is between CAD 46,630 - 60,619 per year. The final amount offered will be determined based on several factors such as a candidate’s work location, their unique skill set, education, and prior work experience.
