Job Description

The Group Copy Supervisor is a senior creative leader responsible for driving high-quality oncology-focused copy across client engagements. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex scientific information into clear, compelling, and strategically aligned creative work. The position plays a key role in maintaining creative standards, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring work is delivered accurately and on time.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead oncology copy development across multiple brand initiatives, ensuring accuracy, strategic alignment, and adherence to brand and regulatory requirements.
  • Translate complex oncology data, clinical insights, and treatment landscapes into clear, engaging, and patient-centric messaging.
  • Partner with Strategy, Client Services, Medical, and Regulatory teams to develop and refine creative concepts and executions.
  • Evaluate creative work against current oncology market trends, competitive activity, and client objectives.
  • Support project execution by managing priorities, timelines, and feedback to ensure high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Significant copywriting experience within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry, with direct oncology brand experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop promotional copy grounded in clinical data, market insights, and regulatory considerations.
  • Strong understanding of oncology treatment landscapes, competitive dynamics, and evolving clinical trends.
  • Proven ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear, accurate, and engaging creative deliverables.
  • Established experience collaborating with cross-functional agency teams and presenting work to clients.

Desired:

  • Agency experience supporting oncology or specialty pharmaceutical brands.
  • Experience contributing to brand launches or major campaign initiatives.
  • Strong interest in staying current with oncology research, treatment innovation, and healthcare marketing trends.
  • Comfort and enthusiasm for using AI as a regular part of how work gets done.
