Job Description

This Art Supervisor role leads the visual execution of life sciences brand and campaign work, ensuring high creative standards while guiding teams through complex, regulated environments. The role partners closely with Copy, Strategy, and Client Services to deliver cohesive, on-brand creative across multiple channels. This is a hands-on leadership position that balances concept development, design execution, and team mentorship.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the visual development and execution of campaigns across digital, print, and integrated channels in collaboration with Copy and Strategy partners
  • Oversee and review design deliverables using Adobe Creative Suite to ensure brand consistency, quality, and regulatory accuracy
  • Provide day-to-day creative direction, feedback, and mentorship to designers across multiple projects
  • Partner with Client Services and Medical/Regulatory stakeholders to deliver work that meets client objectives and compliance requirements
  • Apply emerging tools, including AI-enabled design workflows, to improve efficiency, concepting, and production quality

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in graphic design or art direction, with demonstrated work in an agency or in-house creative environment
  • Hands-on expertise with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) evidenced through campaign, brand, or production deliverables
  • Experience leading or supervising design work, including reviewing and providing actionable feedback to other designers
  • Background delivering creative work within regulated or complex industries such as life sciences or pharma, with examples of compliant execution
  • Strong computer proficiency and workflow management skills demonstrated through managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

Desired:

  • Comfort and enthusiasm for using AI as a regular part of how work gets done
  • Experience supervising designers on integrated campaigns spanning digital, social, print, and experiential
  • Familiarity with pharma/life sciences brand systems, MLR processes, and stakeholder review cycles
  • Exposure to motion, video, or interactive design as part of larger campaign ecosystems
  • Experience collaborating directly with clients or senior internal stakeholders on creative solutions

Additional Information

This posting is for a newly created role at Klick.

The base salary range for this position is between CAD $100,000 - $120,000. The final amount offered will be determined based on several factors such as a candidate's work location, their unique skill set, education, and prior work experience.
