Job Description

The Production Coordinator intern supports broadcast, digital video, social video, animation, and still
photography projects, physical and live events, 360 production and print production from
concept through final delivery. This role partners with Creative, Production, and client teams to
manage scopes, timelines, and budgets while ensuring smooth execution across pre-production,
production, and post-production. The position contributes to both logistical coordination and
hands-on production support.

Internship Term: May - August, 2026

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate broadcast, digital video, social video, animation, and still photography projects,
  • physical and live events, 360 production and print production from concept development through
  • final delivery with Creative and client teams
  • Track and manage project scopes, timelines, and budgets using Google Sheets and production
  • documentation tools
  • Support pre-production planning including casting, vendor coordination, location logistics, and
  • production schedules
  • Provide on-set and post-production support, including liaising with directors, production
  • companies, editors, and studios
  • Maintain organized production documentation, cost trackers, and status updates for internal
  • stakeholders across Canada and the United States

Qualifications

Required:

  • Portfolio or case study links demonstrating involvement in production projects
  • Graduating by April 2026 or graduated within the past two years from a post-secondary program in Film, Broadcasting, Communications, Production, or related field, or equivalent hands-on production experience
  • Experience supporting 2+ production projects (broadcast, digital video, or photography) from concept through final cut
  • Demonstrated experience managing budgets or scopes using Excel, Google Sheets or
  • Smartsheets with accurate tracking of costs and timelines
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional creative teams and external vendors (e.g., production companies, directors, studios)
  • Working knowledge of pre-production, production, and post-production workflows across live action, animation, or hybrid formats

Desired:

  • Comfort and enthusiasm for using AI as a regular part of how work gets done.
  • Experience supporting audio recording sessions, casting coordination, location scouting, or animation production
  • Experience preparing production paperwork such as call sheets, cost estimates, and release forms
  • Experience using PowerPoint or Google Suite to prepare production decks or client-facing materials
  • Experience working on union and non-union productions, including exposure to ACTRA or SAG talent agreements is a plus

Additional Information

This posting is for a newly created role at Klick. The base salary for this position is CAD 50,000 per year and will be determined based on several factors such as a candidate’s work location, their unique skill set, education, and prior experience.
