About our Office Tech
Our Office Tech team is responsible for managing and maintaining all technology used within Klick's environment. This includes a wide range of tasks, from setting up workstations for new employees, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, to managing network infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of all technological systems. The Office Tech team is a go-to for any technical issues or needs that arise in the office setting. They're equipped to handle everything from computer setups, network connectivity issues, to troubleshooting software and hardware problems.
Job Description

Work Term: Permanent, Full-time

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

We are seeking an experienced Office Technology Manager to lead our IT team, overseeing office technology systems and driving productivity through strategic technology solutions. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in IT management, leadership, and vendor relations

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in IT management with a focus on service delivery, continuous improvement and Office Technology
  • Strong leadership abilities with demonstrated project management experience
  • Extensive knowledge of hardware, software, and network solutions
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for addressing IT issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with both technical and non-technical staff

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating technology contracts
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including IT and facilities
  • Proven track record of developing and executing technology strategies that improve office productivity
  • Familiarity with procurement processes for IT equipment and services
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA, or similar

What you will do:

  • Lead and manage the office technology team to ensure optimal IT performance
  • Oversee implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all office technology, including hardware and networks
  • Develop and execute technology strategies that enhance operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with IT, facilities, and other departments to integrate technology solutions
  • Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiations and procurement of technology
  • Ensure timely resolution of IT issues and identify areas for improvement
  • Assist in developing, maintaining, and enforcing IT policies and best practices
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation on IT procedures
  • Assist with software license compliance across the organization
  • Some budget responsibilities, including managing project spending
  • Train and coach IT staff, communicate expectations, and evaluate performance through regular meetings
  • Generate reports to track Service Desk performance and asset inventory, identifying areas for improvement
