Job Description

The Consulting Analyst Intern supports strategic consulting engagements for life sciences and healthcare clients. This role contributes to structured research, data analysis, and synthesis that informs client recommendations. The position partners with senior consultants and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver insights grounded in evidence and business context. Success is measured by analytical rigor, clarity of synthesis, quality of presentation materials, and ability to manage multiple workstreams.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct primary and secondary research, including structured desk research and stakeholder interviews, to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data using Excel or structured frameworks to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Synthesize findings into clear insights and hypotheses aligned to client business objectives.
  • Develop presentation materials in PowerPoint that communicate analysis, strategic options, and recommendations to internal and client teams.
  • Support project planning by tracking tasks, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with Consulting leads.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Graduating by April 2026 or graduated within the past two years from a program in Commerce, Business, MBA, Health Economics, or related field relevant to healthcare strategy.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting structured research or case analysis through coursework, internships, or consulting projects.
  • Experience analyzing quantitative or qualitative data and presenting findings in written reports or slide-based formats.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint demonstrated through academic, internship, or case competition work.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and contribute effectively in team-based environments.

Desired:

  • Comfort and enthusiasm for using AI as a regular part of how work gets done.
  • Exposure to healthcare, digital health, consumer health, or pharmaceutical business topics through coursework or internships.
  • Experience participating in case competitions, consulting clubs, or strategy-focused student organizations with defined deliverables.
  • Familiarity with business frameworks (e.g., market sizing, competitive analysis, value proposition development).
  • Experience presenting structured recommendations to academic, professional, or client audiences.

Additional Information

This posting is for a newly created role at Klick. The base salary for this position is CAD 60,000 per year and will be determined based on several factors such as a candidate’s work location, their unique skill set, education, and prior experience.
