We are very excited to be growing our Technology Consulting team to deliver data driven initiatives to meet our clients’ needs in the life sciences space and to elevate our practices by building on the areas of Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Digital Marketing, Campaign Operations, Technology and Analytics solutions.

We are looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join our team and collaborate with a group of technology and business experts in an agile and iterative setting. Your primary responsibilities will include executing strategies and operational plans for intricate enterprise projects. These strategies will capitalize on cutting-edge platform technologies, including Salesforce.com (SFDC), Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), CDP platforms, Veeva, Adobe, Datorama, Informatica, and AWS.

As a Senior BSA, your core duties will involve dissecting business requirements and translating use cases and user stories into technical and data specifications to fulfill those requirements. In this role, you will act as a technical and data analyst across various projects. You will strike a balance between hands-on contributions by providing basic configuration support, handling ad-hoc reporting, managing data migration and cleansing, and supporting Quality Assurance (QA) in each project implementation.

The Senior BSA will report to the Business Analysis Manager, and will operate as their trusted advisor and feet on the ground.

Responsibilites

  • Facilitate stakeholder requirement sessions for solution development and technical specifications
  • Translate digital journey requirements into comprehensive data requirements, business rule definitions, business process documentation, and technical specifications for campaign specialists and development teams. This includes conducting Data Fit Gap Analysis, Data Flow Mapping, and ensuring Data Governance
  • Ensure alignment between business and technology on functional and non-functional requirements such as reporting, campaign journey design, data compliance and performance
  • Produce high-quality documentation for requirements and system design that support business and technical teams. Document and develop process flows for both current and future states
  • Assist system administrators with configuration changes, reporting and dashboards
  • Conduct post-campaign analysis, campaign pre-planning, or ad hoc analysis using BI tools such as Tableau, Datorama, and Google Analytics; when necessary, produce Excel-based reports for stakeholders
  • Ensure data quality by supporting data processes through data extracts, imports, and integrations; uphold data governance practices, including deduplication, merging, and data cleansing
  • Understand and define segmentation, audiences, and list selections in BI and marketing applications
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging best practices in the digital marketing space
  • Develop, implement, and maintain processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity
  • Create test plans, review test protocols, and contribute to test planning and execution to support Quality Assurance (QA)
  • Establish a traceability matrix for requirements and project deliverables

Experience and Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation and team collaboration
  • Proficient in media and marketing data with a solid grasp of digital journey support for marketing initiatives
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Management, a related field, or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years of direct experience
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms such as CDP, CRM, and Analytics tools
  • Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), particularly in requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and support
  • Experience with at least one of the following platforms: Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Salesforce Health Cloud, Salesforce.com, and SFDC data loader
  • Understanding of the main components in a marketing technology stack (e.g., CDP, marketing automation, CRM hub, various data types like media, social, web, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Agile delivery methods
  • Expertise in use case modelling
  • Competence in working with relational databases and basic SQL commands
  • Familiarity with fundamentals as they relate to digital marketing in the healthcare industry is an asset
