Job Description
The Project Coordinator Intern supports the planning and execution of healthcare marketing projects across cross-functional teams. This role partners with Project Managers and Client Services leads to track scope, timelines, budgets, and risks throughout the project lifecycle. The position provides hands-on exposure to structured project delivery within a regulated industry. Success is measured by accuracy of tracking, proactive communication, timely coordination of tasks, and adherence to established processes.
Internship Term: May - August, 2026
What You’ll Do
- Maintain project timelines, task lists, and status updates using tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, Microsoft Project, or equivalent platforms.
- Track budgets, hours, and financial reconciliations in collaboration with Project Managers to ensure alignment with approved scope.
- Identify and document risks, dependencies, and scope changes, escalating issues to appropriate stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross-functional meetings, capture action items, and follow up on deliverables with Creative, Medical, and Client teams.
- Support workflow management and milestone tracking to ensure deliverables meet regulatory and client requirements.
Qualifications
Required:
- Graduating by April 2026 or graduated within the past two years from a program in Project Management, Business, Advertising, Digital Marketing, or related field, with coursework in project planning or operations.
- Demonstrated experience managing timelines or deliverables across multiple assignments (academic, internship, or team projects) with defined deadlines.
- Proficiency in project tracking or collaboration tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira, Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello) demonstrated through coursework or practical use.
- Basic financial literacy, evidenced by experience tracking budgets, reconciling expenses, or managing project estimates in academic or work settings.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting project updates in structured formats.
Desired:
- Comfort and enthusiasm for using AI as a regular part of how work gets done.
- Exposure to agency, consulting, or healthcare-related projects through internships, coursework, or case competitions.
- Foundational knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) demonstrated through coursework or certification progress.
- Experience supporting risk tracking, issue logs, or change management documentation.
- Progress toward or interest in certifications such as CAPM, PMP, or Scrum-related credentials.
Additional Information
This posting is for a newly created role at Klick. The base salary for this position will be CAD 55,000 per year, determined based on several factors such as a candidate’s work location, their unique skill set, education, and prior work experience.
