Our technology group is at the heart of this transformation and we’re looking for someone to join our highly creative and ambitious team of CRM technology experts as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architect!
You will be part of a small, highly creative team responsible for conceptualizing and developing key components of new and exciting campaigns using cloud technologies such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud to drive business value with personalized, data driven, content experiences.
You will define and build solutions alongside our technology team, build/manage integration endpoints, evangelize technology solutions as appropriate and identify where these solutions can be most effectively leveraged in our client’s organization. Your main focus will be the solution architecture, application design, development and support of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and integrations into other technology platforms.
We combine the art of content and the science of experimentation to power best-in-class, coordinated customer and prospect experiences across digital and traditional marketing channels.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a solid technical understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud standard methodologies and functionality including Email studio, Mobile Studio, Automation studio, Journey Builder, Interaction Studio, Ad Studio and Audience Builder
- Collaborate with key business stakeholders to communicate best practices and to create, enhance, and develop effective Journeys
- Lead client workshops to facilitate best practice solutions and designs for marketing automation
- Translate business requirements/user stories into a practical, scalable solution that leverages the functionality and best practices of SFMC
- Create solution documentation and specifications jointly with the other architects and business systems analysts
- Coach and guide team members in the execution of a complex Journey set up and development, SMS campaigns, mobile app notifications, data model development and SFMC APIs
- Lead setup of short code application process and SMS setup for mobile studio
- Provide expert technical support on the platforms
- Provides expert consultation HTML code development, Ampscript code, and CSS
- Leverages baseline SQL knowledge for the purpose of segmentation.
- Creates appropriate templates and models for reuse
- Develop custom components for use in journey builder
- Assist with integrations between any technologies to Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Ensures the highest quality of all outputs through unit testing.
- Comfortable working independently with little or no supervision while maintaining a high level of efficiency, within a distributed remote and global organization
- Consults with marketing technology partners to integrate existing or future data/technologies to meet business needs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Management or related discipline or equivalent 3-5 years of direct experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong and effective relationship builder with the ability to influence across technology teams and collaborate effectively with senior executives
- Experience with Agile delivery methods is required
- Omnichannel marketing integrations (Social, SMS messages, Chat)
- Real time marketing, Streaming API’s / REST / SOAP / BULK
- Automation Studio, Ampscript, Database integration, Database management, custom dev journey components
- Certified Salesforce marketing cloud system Administrator and Developer
- Demonstrable aptitude in SQL or AMPScript (language specific to marketing cloud)
- Demonstrable aptitude in HTML, CSS, and/or JavaScript
- Demonstrable expertise in Content Builder, Journey Builder, and Automation Studio
- Demonstrable expertise in Salesforce CRM reporting & analytics
- Experience with mobile app SDKs and API integrations
- Familiarity with HTML, XML, CSS and JavaScript
- Familiarity with security standards such as TLS, SSL, data encryption
- Experience with REST/SOAP API integrations
- Experience with one Customer Data Platform (Salesforce CDP, Adobe Experience Platform, Segment, etc.) a plus
