Responsibilities
- Develop a strategic roadmap for media with key accounts
- Lead media strategy development, ensuring high-quality execution
- Deliver client-facing cross-channel plan recommendations
- Coach and mentor the team in media strategy development
- Design and review budgets
- Stay up-to-date with digital media and pharmaceutical marketing technologies, trends, and best practices
- Collaborate with internal teams to define a long-term vision for digital media and implement it step by step
- Advocate for the vision internally and externally, positioning yourself as a media subject matter expert
- Foster relationships with key clients, Klick peers, and media vendors
- Provide direction for the implementation of platforms, technologies, and processes reflecting best practices
- Master the use of media tools and stay informed about market research tools/systems
- Serve as the primary client point-of-contact for day-to-day communications
- Lead cross-channel media planning and optimization for brand media programs
- Provide evidence-based recommendations on channel budget allocation
- Collaborate with internal media teams to maximize media effectiveness across channels
- Cultivate relationships with strategic partners and providers in the healthcare media landscape
- Master oral and written storytelling for clients and internal stakeholders
Skills and Experience
- 8 to 10+ years in a digital media role, specializing in strategic planning across key media channels
- Deep knowledge of all media channels and their strategic role
- Passion for emerging media technologies and channels
- Proven experience defining, communicating, and implementing a strategic vision
- Drive to maximize return on investment and quantifiably prove it
- Knowledge and experience in pharmaceutical marketing
- Familiarity with healthcare media vendors
- Proven thought leadership experience in shaping industry trends and best practices
- A collaborator that supports the development of innovative solutions that drive results, while inspiring a creative team
