Job Description

Work Schedule: Freelance (6 months)

Location: Singapore (Hybrid/Remote)

As a Junior Designer, you are an original thinker and a craftsperson who understands the importance of brand consistency and making the work look really good. While no day is ever the same, Designers are expected to work closely with our team of Art Directors, Writers, and UXers. Reporting to the Creative Lead, you’ll be taking creative concepts and translating them into beautiful and engaging designs. We’re looking for Designers who are always on the look-out for what’s new in the design world - what will elevate the craft and what excites people. We want designers who are constantly curious, and have great attention to detail. Strong color, typography, and illustrative skills are highly valued. Lastly, you’re a problem solver and collaborator who is passionate about great design.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Strong portfolio showcasing exceptional creative graphic design work, including digital media and animation
  • Ability to conceptualize and execute innovative design solutions that go beyond traditional graphic design
  • Professional proficiency in English for effective cross functional collaboration
  • Enthusiasm for learning and taking on increasing responsibility
  • You’re not simply talented, but also optimistic, driven, empathetic, trustworthy, and kind

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with fellow Designers, Art Directors, Writers, and UXers to translate creative concepts into engaging designs
  • Participate in internal creative/copyreviews and effectively present your work
  • Develop ideas and generate designs that adhere to brand guidelines
  • Engage in proactive discussions to further define project requirements
  • Coordinate multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Regularly communicate with the Creative Director to ensure alignment on project approaches
  • Build and maintain knowledge of client brands and industries
  • Clearly communicate project statuses and updates to the team
