Role Overview
As a Freelance Designer with a digital production focus, reporting to the Creative Director, you’ll collaborate closely with Art Directors, Designers, Copywriters, UXers, Developers, CRM, Operations, and Regulatory teams to produce high-quality digital assets. You will be working within an established creative system to execute designs across multiple formats, with Figma as a core tool.
You are an original thinker with an eye for detail and proportions, a strong sense of brand consistency, and a collaborative spirit. This role blends production precision with creativity and requires the ability to work independently, delivering error-free digital assets, even under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate creative concepts into polished, engaging digital assets using Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Format and produce digital content including emails, websites, banners, social graphics, and other deliverables
- Execute layouts and design elements based on established templates and brand guidelines
- Build and organise final digital files to spec, with a focus on accessibility and development feasibility
- Apply typographical corrections, version control, and QA rigorously before handoff
- Participate in the development of medical/therapeutic content, interpreting data and visualising it effectively when required
- Maintain structured file management systems and adhere to folder/server naming conventions
- Stay up to date on design trends, tools, and technologies relevant to digital execution
- Collaborate across multiple disciplines and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders
Hard Skills:
- Expertise in Figma is a must
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
- Experience using Sketch, Abstract, or similar collaborative design tools
- Understanding of web production and design systems
- Familiarity with HTML and code-level version control tools like GitHub is a strong asset
- The Design Eye: strong grasp of typography, colour theory, layout, and visual storytelling
- Willingness to adhere to brand guidelines and to also suggest evolutions or adaptations = ability to not only maintain brand consistency, but also contribute to the brand’s growth thanks to experience and confidence
- Ability to present concepts through sketches, wireframes, or visuals, on the spot, for quick turnarounds in the decision-making process with the rest of the team
- Solid computer literacy and file formatting best practices
Soft Skills:
- Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive, organised mindset
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-project freelance environment
- Solutions-oriented communicator who thrives in collaborative settings
- Able to independently manage deadlines, revisions, and feedback loops
- Professional in demeanour and adaptable to shifting priorities
Preferred Background:
- Years of combined freelance and permanent experience, ideally including time within a creative or digital agency
- Experience in healthcare/pharma or regulated industries is a big plus
- Prior experience working within French market
