Internship Description
Work Schedule: 30 hours per week - 10:00 am - 5:00 pm BRT
Location: Sao Paulo, SP (Brazil) - Hybrid / Remote
As a Junior Designer Intern, you are an original thinker and a craftsperson who understands the importance of brand consistency. While no day is ever the same, Designers are expected to work closely with fellow Designers, as well as our team of Art Directors, Writers, and UXers. Reporting to the Design Supervisor/Group Design Supervisor, you’ll be taking creative concepts and translating them into beautiful and engaging designs. We’re looking for Designers who are creative, curious, and have great attention to detail. Strong color, typography, and illustrative skills are highly valued. Lastly, you’re a problem solver and collaborator who is passionate about great design.
Minimum Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution in Graphic Design, Advertising, Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or Design-related programs
- Professional proficiency in English for direct communication to the Creative team based in Canada and USA
- Enthusiasm for learning and taking on increasing responsibility
- Ability to work collaboratively, checking in frequently with your manager and taking on new work as needed
- Proactive in asking questions when unclear on expectations or assignments
- You’re not simply talented, but also optimistic, driven, empathetic, trustworthy, and kind
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with fellow Designers, Art Directors, Writers, and UXers to translate creative concepts into engaging designs
- Participate in internal creative/copy reviews and effectively present your work
- Develop ideas and generate copy/designs that adhere to brand guidelines
- Engage in proactive discussions to further define project requirements
- Coordinate multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Regularly communicate with the Creative Director to ensure alignment on project approaches
- Build and maintain knowledge of client brands and industries
- Clearly communicate project statuses and updates to the team
