You have the opportunity to help shape and define this newly created role of Senior Legal Counsel, reporting to General Counsel, at a rapidly growing and exciting private company that’s a North American leader in its space.
We are seeking an intermediate to senior level lawyer with 5+ years of experience (including in-house) who can provide business-driven, legal support for Klick. The objective is to facilitate the continued rapid growth of Klick while logically managing risk and ensuring legal & regulatory compliance from a corporate governance perspective.
Work with General Counsel to provide support for Klick Health in these areas:
- Corporate commercial
- Employment
- Financing transactions
- Intellectual Property
- Investments
- Mergers & Acquisitions
- Privacy and Security
- Regulatory filings
- Support Klick’s People Practices team to ensure enterprise-wide compliance with Klick’s Code of Conduct and implementation of all Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion policies.
- Ensure that legal services and resources are provided in a proactive, high-quality, timely and cost-effective way in line with business objectives
- Develop negotiation strategies and, when needed, lead negotiations on behalf of the organization
- Maintenance and hygiene of corporate minute books, resolutions, business licenses, annual filings, etc.

- A leader with extensive experience navigating complex legal issues that have a corporate-wide scope
- Experience as in-house counsel
- Broad understanding of business issues and their integration with legal issues
- Understand, and if necessary, lead an M&A process
- Management of internal contract management and external legal resources and costs
- Strong negotiation/dispute resolution skills
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Well-organized; able to manage and prioritize changing workloads and meet deadlines; and
- Collaborative contributor to a variety of teams, both as a leader and as a member.
