Senior User Experience (UX) Architect – Toronto

Hi there!

Are you obsessed with User Experience Design? Do you find yourself mentally redesigning every website and mobile app you use? Do you dream in prototypes, wireframes, sitemaps, and flow diagrams? If so, you could be the next UX Architect to join the team here at Klick.

Our team is responsible for putting (digital) pen to (digital) paper and bringing to life the solutions Klick delivers. That means we get inspired by conducting customer research, working closely with clients, and collaborating with internal teams to create awesome digital experiences across websites, applications, and mobile apps.

We are currently seeking a Senior UX Architect to join our team. In this role, you’ll help identify our clients’ business objectives and unpack customers needs. From there, you’ll create specifications, sitemaps, detailed wireframes, diagrams, and clickable prototypes – whatever is necessary to communicate design and give our clients an awesome experience. You’ll then help see the project through to completion, from requirements to creative ideation to development to launch and optimization.

This role focuses on strong collaboration with our Strategy, Business Analysis, Project Management, Client Services and Creative teams. You’ll also have the full support of your surrounding UXers. While research and design are large components of the job, you’ll also be energized by the opportunity to design, organize and facilitate in-person workshops and presentations to gain alignment and consensus to move projects forward, both internally and with clients.

While no two projects are alike, we typically work on websites, iPad apps and web-based applications. Think you fit the bill? We’re excited to hear from you!

Skills:

  • 4–7 years experience in UX, spanning both research and design
  • An aptitude and/or background in designing technically-focused solutions and specifying functional requirements
  • Proven information architecture, interaction design and prototyping skills across devices and form factors
  • Strong track record of crafting, executing and reporting on UX research efforts such as usability testing, digital ethnography, tree testing and card sorting
  • Familiarity with design systems, databases and underlying web technologies
  • Experience with stakeholder management and stakeholder interviews
  • Exposure to working within an agency setting or equivalent fast–paced environment
  • BONUS: Experience working in health care, health tech, or pharmaceuticals

Attributes:

  • A willingness to lead solutioning through facilitation of collaborative design workshops internally and with clients
  • Team player who maintains the correct perspective when making decisions
  • Intensely curious, humble, and open to continuous learning
  • An analytical mind that understands the context of web metrics
  • A comfort level with making assumptions to provide options for solutions, sometimes in contexts without clear direction or having all details

When you apply, please provide a copy of your resume along with samples of UX work you’ve delivered in the past, either in a PDF document or a link to an online portfolio.
