Director of Analytics – Toronto

Under the umbrella of our Marketing Strategy and Activation group and as a key member of the Analytics discipline at Klick Health, you will work under the VP of Analytics who manages a portfolio of clients or brands. Success in this position requires managing projects/engagements delivering commercial analytics, marketing analytics, and other innovative, advanced pre/post commercial analytics solutions for our clients. As an expert in showing clients the business value of sales and marketing activities using established methods, you’ll need to be intellectually curious, feel comfortable standing in front of a group of clients leading a discussion (brainstorm, pitch, quarterly business reviews) on omni-channel integrated marketing communications. You will also need to drive to solutions with limited input and feel comfortable working with marketing and analytics stakeholders.

Analytics Skills

-Drive strategic agenda with Strategy, Media and Client Services
-Pushes team to bring new market trends and strategic ideas to clients
-Takes responsibility for output of CST analytics team
-Collaborates with other CSTs to ensure that best Klick thinking and offerings are brought to clients
-Delivers breakthrough thinking and strategic framing work streams for analytics
-Leads new offering development
-Able to present a range of analytics offerings to clients
-Demonstrate ability to influence Klick stakeholders and client stakeholders
-Consistently sought out across capabilities
-Codifies CST analytics findings to leverage as intellectual property
-Project Management

-Successfully delivers the execution of complex, cross-capability programs with measurable results for the client’s business
-Demonstrated capability of running a client analytics business on a mid-level scale ($0.5 million – $3 million)
-Effectively balances client and Klick demands for on-time delivery
-Consistently creates solid analytics revenue forecasts for CST
-Owns analytics area successes, challenges, and failures
-Manages client expectations

Communication

-Drives professional, impactful verbal and written standards within entire CST team.
-Engenders trust, inspires and develops colleagues across Marketing Strategy and Activation through passion for clients and their business
-Leads shared learning/ new business presentations, fueled by strong presentation and
advisory skills
-Develops decks and plays a lead role in important CST pitches
-Displays a high degree of integrity and is respected by clients/teams/peers
-Uses superb listening skills to anticipate client and Klick needs, opportunities and issues
-Consistently exerts influence with colleagues and more senior Klick and client leadership
-Strategic player in client situations
-Actively drives scope of work by selling the benefits of analytics

-Relationship with CST peers is strong; trusted as a key business partner by mid-level clients and recognized by the most senior clients as a key advisor
-Possesses strong analytical skills and use them to drive decisions (vs. taking orders), yielding sustained and measurable results
-Demonstrates accountability to ensure deliverables are on strategy and meet quality standards Proactively makes recommendations based on knowledge to improve clients business
-Demonstrates ability to see beyond explicit assignment and to identify broader, longer term opportunities
-Advises clients on strategic opportunities within their business. Understands the client’s business model and identifies ways to expand it. Enhance the client’s view of the business to identify upside value
-Mentors and guides CST and Analytics team members in developing client analytic agendas
-Effective at selling work beyond current scope
-Balances effectively responsiveness and assertiveness in working with CST and clients
