Our Copywriters are responsible for developing, writing and/or designing the engaging copy and compelling online experiences that wow our customers and resonate with their target audiences. We are looking for an experienced individual who can work their creative flair around the regulations that go along with copywriting in the healthcare space. Writers are the source of emotion behind the advertisements we produce – responsible for crafting language that will resonate with our clients’ customers – people seeking life-changing treatments.

In order to effectively get the message across while navigating a minefield of regulations it would be great if you have deep healthcare or pharmaceuticals marketing experience and/or relevant education.

As a writer, you will be an integral part of our creative team developing content for a broad range of digital media. At Klick, we all wear a lot of hats and you’ll be no exception.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Writing clear, persuasive, original copy for online and offline channels
  • Interpreting briefs – mining insights and identifying key selling points
  • Presenting ideas to colleagues and clients
  • Working collaboratively with Art Directors, Editorial teams and clients
  • Crafting new messaging – including research, messaging and testing
  • Fact checking and referencing
  • Amending, revising or redeveloping campaigns in response to feedback from the creative director, account team or clients
  • Developing creative ideas and concepts, often in partnership with an art director, designer and user experience specialist
  • Experience writing in different voices for branded and unbranded campaigns as well as different age groups
  • Overseeing campaign or concept work through the production stage to completion with a focus on quality
  • Expert multitasker – working on several projects at once, sometimes under pressure and often to tight deadlines

Must have qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Copywriting experience
  • Experience with consumer writing
  • Prior agency experience
  • Website copywriting experience required
  • An understanding of strategy when crafting messages
  • Self-starter attitude
  • Detail oriented
  • A friendly, team player and go-getter
  • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally to US

Nice to have qualifications:

  • Medical or healthcare / pharmaceutical writing background is a huge asset
  • Prior experience writing copy for a vaccine
  • Social media copywriting experience (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram)
  • Understanding of TV and script writing
  • Knowledge of copy editing and ability to reference/fact check
  • Experience with InVision
