Job Description

Work Term: Permanent, Full-time

Work schedule: 40 hours per week

Location options: London, UK (Hybrid)

As a Junior Art Director, you will work on diverse projects that may include print, digital and video media. You understand and are curious to learn more about concepting and generating ideas, as well as about the medical and legal requirements of the health space. Great art direction sensibility is a must, as is a willingness to take on just about any task, even outside of a traditional art director role, in order to support the creative team. You will work under the supervision of a Creative Director.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Good understanding of concepting and how strategy influences creative deliverables
  • Excellent skills in art direction/design for web, print, and broadcast mediaAptitude for seeking clarification on project requirements (UX, tech, customer insights)
  • Ability to develop ideas and generate content adhering to brand guidelines and creative briefs
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable asking questions when unsure about expectations or assignments
  • Constructive communication skills, both in giving and receiving feedback
  • Collaborative mindset, regularly checking in with your manager and taking on new tasks
  • Enthusiasm for learning and taking on increasing responsibility
  • Participation in internal reviews, effectively communicating the rationale behind your work
  • Regularly check in with the Creative Director to align on project approach
  • Proactively build knowledge of the client and brand

Desired Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in an art direction or creative role, preferably in an agency setting
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency in creative work
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., copywriters, developers, UX/UI designers)
  • An innovative mindset and willingness to bring fresh ideas to the table
  • You’re not simply talented, but also optimistic, driven, empathetic, trustworthy, and kind
  • Familiarity with health and pharmaceutical advertising regulations is a plus
