Job Description

Klick is seeking a highly motivated and scientifically adept Associate Medical Strategist to join our dynamic team. This role offers the unique opportunity to support our medical strategy initiatives, enhancing your expertise across multiple products and disease states. You will be integral in reviewing and elevating content while driving innovative strategies to distinguish our brands medically and competitively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Take the lead on medically related client interactions and serve as a strategic resource, transforming complex scientific data into clear, impactful communications.
  • Content Development: Provide expertise for agency-held brands, supporting the development and drafting of medical content for pitches and RFPs.
  • Market Analysis: Maintain up-to-date knowledge on therapeutic landscapes, delivering in-depth competitive analyses and strategic insights to both internal and client teams.
  • Client Engagement: Effectively present scientific work and participate actively in strategic planning sessions, ensuring alignment with client goals and enhancing brand value.

Desired Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years in a similar role or 4+ years in pharmaceuticals or life sciences consulting.
  • Advanced degree in a scientific/medical discipline (PhD or and/or medical degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in an agency setting, with a strong track record in medical strategy and client consultation.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to persuade and influence.
  • Robust analytical and organizational skills, adept at managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Experience acting as a line manager

  • Consultative Support: Use your knowledge to assist clients at critical decision-making points, helping to define impactful strategies for brand success.
  • Collaborative Expertise: Work closely with senior strategy directors and accounts teams, guiding the strategic direction and ensuring scientific accuracy and compliance.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships, acting as a strategic partner to foster growth and align with our clients' evolving needs.
